Took an authentic vintage 70s dress to get the bottom of it hemmed. First alteration was the top layer of the dress but upon my first pick up I noticed the slip under was torn. I decided to not leave with my dress and leave it yet for another alteration. The seamstress told me it would take another 7 days to fix the second hem at the bottom of the dress. When I had heard nothing I followed up. I was told my dress had been picked up?! Thankfully, Lette the manager found my dress so I picked it up a couple days later. During pick up I examined the bottom of the dress where I had needed 2 repairs. I was pleased with the repair then came home only to find my dress had been damaged?! Yes, the dress is delicate but so is any lace. I have worn this dress numerous times and would have noticed all these tears and holes. The most obvious one is where the mesh sleeve is damaged by the hanger. I was hesitant to take my dress for repair. I was recommended to go here by a friend. Unfortunately, now I’m hoping the manager will see throughout their footage that my dress was not ruined so upon drop off in order to receive a refund. I understand the manager, Lette is going through protocol however this has been the worst customer service experience. I can not trust the seamstress to fix the damage caused by them/other employees to my vintage dress. I can not replace this dress because it is authentically 70s vintage. As a consumer if you have any clothing that are considered an investment piece or simply special to you reconsider this location. Truly disappointed I can never wear this dress again.
Update: I just received a call from the manager, Lette who has been the only one that I spoke positively about in this review. To my surprise she called to start by saying to me that “5 mins after I expressed my issue to her I am bashing her online when she is trying to help me?!” I clarified I wasn’t bashing her but stating facts about my experience as a consumer. Lette explained “She is trying to resolve and didn’t wait for the resolution” I explained “Weather you refund me or not I picked up a damaged dress”. How THAT is the point of the review. The refund doesn’t resolve a dress that can not be worn again or replaced. Lette explained how she identifies with her company and doesn’t appreciate me leaving a one star review about an item I dropped off and picked up damaged/ruined. How she works for this company. I told her I wasn’t upset with her and stating facts about my experience to prevent this from happening to other consumers. She told me “It’s not my job to help others.” I told her “I stated facts that could not be debated.” I offered to write a letter to corporate if she got in trouble for the 1 star, that it wasn’t a reflection on her because out of all the poor customer service she was the only one I stated anything positive about. Lette told me how “I wrote enough.” She was being so argumentative I asked Lette “Did called me to argue with me about my review? Cause I thought she was calling to resolve the issue?!”Lette stated “I am trying to figure out how you would like me to proceed cause after your review I didn’t feel incentive to help further” When Lette explaining she “was trying to figure out what kind of person I was.” I laughed and told her “thank you for calling” then hung up!
Concludes: Dropped off a dress to get fixed along hem line now is has new damage to the point of unwearable/irreplaceable. Despite the inconvenience no refund will be honored since Lette the manager decided to call to argue opposed to continuing to address the unsatisfactory service. Lette WAS professional and helpful until her phone call. Never had I ever experienced a manager behave so unprofessionally when my customer service experience has been inexcusable.
Resolution: I appreciated the owner’s delayed response however at the point of them responding I had already reached out to corporate by filling out the online form mentioned and contacted BBB. I warn you in regards to ethical business practices and professionalism of this company.

My personal experience with ZIPS has always been exceptionally well regarding my expectations, however when it comes to special items such as Quilts, specifically made queen/king size bed spreads, bed covers, hand-made bed covers, I've been frustrated most times when I come in to pickup my items I am almost all the time faced with the questions such as "can you please describe how and what my items looked like?" why should I have to always explain how and what my specially hand-made item when I would expect ZIPS Cleaners to be able to track my item by the receipt with bar code?
The staff are very friendly and courteous and provide excellent service for me whenever I come in. If I have any issues, they're resolved very quickly. I have had alterations on my suits, comforters cleaned, and taken advantage of the same day service. Lettie, the manager st tjr Bel Air store, is always helpful and a pleasure to talk to.
Last night I stopped to pick up my dry cleaning. I arrived at 7:02, only to find out that the store closed at 7:00. Not knowing when I could get back this was very upsetting. However, a very nice young lady opened the door and let me in to pick up my dry cleaning. Leti and Kim we’re both very helpful and Kind. This customer service is what makes customers want to come

Always a 5 Star experience at Zips! Garments are always ready by the time promised or earlier. They always come back perfect as well. They pay close attention to any stains and pre treat them. I highly recommend Zips!
Great cleaners. I took my military uniform and got it back the next day. It came back in perfect condition. Definitely go here if you’re looking for something fast and efficient.
I will NEVER return to this location again, it is disastrous, they do not keep items organized. How is it possible that they have lost my clothes? Now I’m 2 item lost and no accountability from anyone. Lastly , what a disgusting professionalism bosses it has, their goal was never for a solution, instead keeping arguing to prove you are wrong.
